Michelle is our exceptional Practice Manager, with over 25 years-experience in practice operation and people management. Equipped with organisational, training, and leadership skills, Michelle oversees all areas of pmwPlus, to ensure each division is functioning at their optimum.
Establishing her career at PwC in Canberra as an Executive Assistant, Michelle worked within the Government Liaison team before moving to the Audit Division where she assisted the Audit Partner and his team.
Michelle then moved from our Nation’s Capital to Orange in 2008 and began work with Newcrest Mining as Assistant to the Superintendent. There she was responsible for managing liaisons with contracting companies with an eye firmly on safety.
In 2010, Michelle joined Duntryleague Golf Club as Manager of Office, Guests and Communications, reporting directly to the Club’s President. At Duntryleague, Michelle was responsible for the management of staff, rosters, payroll and bookkeeping, while also being accountable for all matters relating to the operations of the Golf Club, its accommodation, food and function facilities. Michelle oversaw many improvements in processes and operations at Duntryleague including the introduction of a software management system for club members and its guests.
pmwPartners brought Michelle on board in 2012 and she has since, made substantial change within the organisation. She safeguarded the move from the firm’s old premises, to its current one at 65 Hill Street (the old Dudley Private Hospital), and ensured it met the firm’s growth and technology requirements. Michelle has also implemented many new software integrations including practice management and document storage, which have taken pmwPartners to an almost 100% cloud-based firm. These changes have improved pmwPartners functions considerably.
If Michelle (or Moo), is not in the office working on ways to continue to improve the way we do things, she’s usually off carving up mountains in Whistler, Niseko or Perisher.
